Technological Innovative and R&D Type Research
Work
In all Worldwide Campuses of International University School
of Medicine (IUSOM), Research Work of Technological
Innovative and R&D Type aiming Proteomics and Genomics
involving Human Gene Sequencing is carried out in the
following three areas of the Innovative Technology:
- Development of Proteomics and Genomics Analytical
Techniques for Clinical Samples such as COVID-19,
SARS and Cancer Disease cells and for Food
Samples such as Beef (for BSE), Ham (for Swine Flue
(H1N1)), and Chicken Cells (for Avian Flue) utilizing
Magnetic Sector High Resolution - Liquid
Chromatograph – Mass Spectrometer (HR-LC-MS)
Coupled; with Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (MSn
Ion Trap Analyzer) and Micro-Electrospray Ionization
(Micro-ESI) Probe as well as Using Matrix-Assisted
Laser Desorption/Ionization-Time-Of-Flight/Time-Of-
Flight Mass Spectrometer (MALDI-TOF/TOF MS) and
MALDI AutoPrep Robot System
- Development of Dioxins Analytical Methods for
Environmental Samples using Magnetic Sector High
Resolution - Gas Chromatograph - Mass Spectrometer
(HR-GC-MS) Coupled with Quadrupole Mass
Spectrometer (MSn Ion Trap Analyzer); and
- Development of Non-Destructive Analytical
Techniques and Methods for the Analysis of Metals
Present in Medical and other Biological Samples Using
High Resolution and Low Resolution Inductively
Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometers (ICP - MS)
Coupled with LASER Probe and Glow Discharge
Systems.
