History
International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) was
founded in 2005 by Dr. Ghulam Ghaus Choudhry, Ph.D.,
D.Sc., as a Founder together with by Dr. Octavio Cervantes-
Pava, M.D. and Mr. Harlton Eleoterio Emerenciana, B.Sc.
(Hons.), B.Sc. as Co-Founders and as Members of Board of
Trustees, in Scenic Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands (Dutch
Caribbean), The Netherlands, European Union (EU).
Subsequently, Branch Campuses of IUSOM were founded in
Sialkot (Pakistan), Barranquilla (Colombia), and México City
(México) in 2006, 2007, and 2008, respectively, with local

In August 2012, International University School of Medicine
(IUSOM) appointed Prof. Dr. Dewa Ramlu as DEAN of
Clinical Sciences & Academic Affairs, Detroit USA.

on March 11, 2013, the Clinical Rotations (for IUSOM M.D.
Degree Students) & Clinical Training (for IUSOM Masters in

Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC) Students)

On April 10, 2013, from its a Branch Campus, namely,
International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) –
Michigan Clinical Campus in Michigan, USA, IUSOM launched
Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC)
Program at Ark Medical Center, Michigan, USA. It should be
mentioned that Ark Medical Center has access to several
Hospitals such as Harper University Hospital, Detroit
Receiving Hospital, Rehab Institute of Michigan, Oakwood
Main Hospital, Oakwood Heritage Hospital, Oakwood
Annapolis Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital, and Sinai Grace
Hospital, all located in Michigan, USA.
In September 2013, at its Branch Campus, namely,
International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) –
Michigan Clinical Campus in Dearborn, Michigan, USA,
International University School of Medicine (IUSOM),
Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands, appointed Dr. Hamid Sattar
as Professor & Vice-President Clinical Sciences together with
Dr. Omar Ali as Professor of Clinical Sciences.

Haag, The Netherlands now permits the M.D. and/or
PreMed Foreign Students (on Student Visa) enrolled and
attending the International University School of Medicine

Island, to partially finance their costs for international medical
