The Headquarters and Main Campus of International University School of Medicine
(IUSOM) and its Technological Innovative Research & Development (R&D)
laboratories are located in the City of Kralendijk, Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands
(Dutch caribbean), The Netherlands, European Union (EU). IUSOM Main Campus
furnished with the state-of-the-art lecture rooms and with the related laboratories is
being equipped with ultramodern
High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Analytical
Chemistry instrumentation.

The island of
Scenic Bonaire is situated in the centre of the Caribbean, which
constitutes the economic heart of Caribbean Netherlands (BES Islands). Several
other scientific and high tech businesses are also located in
Bonaire.

IUSOM will be a unique institution which will have capability for performing
quantitative analyses of the clinical, environmental and other samples on femtogram
per microlitre levels (on ppq levels (1 part in 1,000,000,000,000,000)) as well as will
conduct Innovative R&D type research work focusing the
Proteomics and Genomics
Analyses together with the Environmental and Toxicological fate and behaviour of
pollutants. IUSOM shall also develop new analytical techniques for the
non-destructive quality control of the biological samples.

The establishment and success of IUSOM is anticipated to bring South & North
America as well as Netherlands Antilles and The Netherlands in the forefront of
Innovative Molecular Life Sciences and Environmental Technology in the world.

Bonaire Island
Bonaire is the eastern-most Caribbean island in the 'ABC' island chain, made up of
Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. Located in Dutch Caribbean (Formerly Netherlands
Antilles), often called the Dutch Caribbean, Bonaire is a mere 50 miles north of
Venezuela, 30 miles east of Curacao and 86 miles east of Aruba. Bonaire covers
112 square miles, is 24 miles long and 7 miles across at its widest point. A small
uninhabited island called Klein Bonaire (Little Bonaire) lies close to the western
shore near the island's capitol Kralendijk.
